About Stand By U
Stand By U is a nonprofit organization that shares stories about people navigating difficult seasons and the people who stood by them. This website provides information about our work and ways to get involved, including joining our mailing list and submitting nominations.
Not a Crisis or Emergency Service
Stand By U is not a crisis service, medical provider, or emergency resource, and nothing on this website should be treated as professional, medical, or mental health advice. Nominations
If you submit a nomination through this website, you represent and confirm that:

By submitting a nomination, you grant Stand By U permission to use the information you provide internally to review, consider, and follow up on the nomination. As described in our Privacy Policy, we do not publicly share a nominee's story without separately obtaining consent.
